A man allegedly told police he broke into Pizza Hut because he is ‘Jesus Christ’ and he was ‘starving to death’.

Richard Lee Quintero is alleged to have told a 911 operator that he smashed a front window and helped himself to pizza and Mountain Dew.

Local media said the 46-year-old is now facing burglary charges after he allegedly broke into the store in High Point, North Carolina in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

In a 911 recording a caller is heard telling police at around 4.30am: ‘Yes, this is Jesus Christ and I just broke into Pizza Hut. ‘I broke the window. Jesus is here now, he’s back to earth.

‘I just broke in and had a pizza. I’m Jesus.’

The caller then adds: ‘I’m Jesus, I can do what I want. We’re tired of Judases on this Earth.

We’re going to clean this Earth up.’

When the dispatcher asks for details from the caller, he replies that his last name is Christ and that he ‘looks like Jesus is supposed to look like’.

He is then asked where he was come from, to which he replies: ‘Heaven.’

The caller also tells the police that he suffers from schizophrenia.
