The Presidential election was held on Saturday, the 23rd of February 2019 but despite the fact that a winner has not been declared by INEC, it is glaring that the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari of the APC will be returning for a second term.

The dissatisfaction of many Nigerians, especially those south of the Middle Belt region, has sparked an ethnocentric war on social media with the hashtags #IAMNORTH and #Northerners.
