REVEALED! President Buhari Sends Powerful Message To Katsina, Ahead Of The Presidential Election

Ahead of the upcoming election, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on People Living with Disability, Shehu Garba, has distributed empowerment items to 40 disabled persons in Daura Local Government Area of Katstina State.

Lawal Buhari, who represented the special assistant at the distribution ceremony in Daura today, said the gesture was aimed at assisting the beneficiaries to be self-reliant.

He said 30 of the beneficiaries received a token amount of N5,000 each to enable them establish small-scale business.

Buhari stated that the remaining 10 were provided with the Butterfly brand of sewing machines free of charge, to enable them venture into vocational trade.

Garba is quoted as saying that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was committed to promoting the welfare of Nigerians, especially those with special needs, stressing they needed care and guidance from the society .

One of the beneficiaries, Usaini Wanzam, commended the special assistant and the Federal Government for extending such gesture to them, stressing it was an excellent initiative.

In a related development, wife of District Head of Daura, Hajiya Bilkisu Musa, has also distributed 500 bundles of clothes to some less privileged women as part of her efforts to promote the spirit of cordial relationship among women in the area.

According to reports, the distribution was conducted under the supervision of the Daura Council chairman, Abba Mato.
