EDINSON CAVANI has sustained a thigh injury in PSG's clash with Bordeaux - just days before their Champions League showdown with Manchester United.PSG star Cavani has limped off against Bordeaux with a thigh injury, being replaced by World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe.
The Ligue 1 giants' squad is now looking extremely thin ahead of their crunch clash with Manchester United in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
PSG are already without Neymar, who has been ruled out for 10 weeks through injury, while Marco Verratti is another doubt.
And Cavani has now handed United a major boost ahead of their blockbuster tie in just two days' time.
PSG fans have reacted with horror at the news with many now believing United have a significant advantage.
“Terrible day of football with Cavani who comes out on injury, 4 days away from the match,” one person said.
“Man U would be the happiest club RN playing PSG in three days without Neymar and Cavani,” another added.
“Cavani wounded at three days of man u that's the life we decided to lead,” were the thoughts of another user.

Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has dropped a team news hint for the PSG game.
"It's a squad game," Solskjaer said.
"And today, of course, it's a chance for everyone to say, 'I want to play on Tuesday night' because it's a big game.
"You've got to trust the players, because the league is vital for us, but it's a chance for them to say, 'I should play on Tuesday'.
“I’ve been in that situation a few times myself and it's about who grabs it.
"There were some good performances today, I have to say.
"It would be a risk to play the same XI as the last game, but this is a squad game. If we are going to be successful this season we need everyone to contribute and everyone in the squad knows they've got a chance to contribute if it's now or next week or the week after.
"You've just got to be ready when you get the chance. That's how, when I played, the manager was always assuring us when you're a part of this squad you're important for us.
"It [PSG]'s the next one, so it's the biggest one, the next one is always the biggest one. To be in the Champions League with Man United you cannot knock that, it's something I'm going to look forward to."
