'One Year After, Nigerians Remember Deji Tinubu
Nigerians have remembered a former chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission, Deji Tinubu, who died on January 25, 2018.Mr Tinubu slumped while playing five-a-side match with fellow participants at the retreat of members of the Lagos State Executive Council and permanent secretaries at the Jubilee Chalets, Epe, Lagos.
After receiving first aid, he was immediately taken to the General Hospital, Epe, where he was confirmed dead.
Tinubu was the special adviser on Commerce, Industry and Cooperative to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode before his death.
He was the son of one of Nigeria’s foremost police officers, late Kafaru Tinubu.
