News In Pictures: Tinubu, El-Rufai, Lai Mohammed, Others Attend Bisi Akande’s 80th Birthday

Photos have emerged from the 80th birthday celebration of the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Bisi Akande.

The governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, who gave the keynote address at the event to commemorate Akande’s birthday on Wednesday, shared photos on his verified Twitter handle.

He tweeted, “Chief Bisi Akande is a most amiable elder statesman who has made immense contributions to our country. I am delighted to join leaders and friends in Ibadan to celebrate his 80th birthday.”

Other dignitaries, who attended the birthday celebration included APC national leader, Bola Tinubu, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed,  Governor Isiaka Gboyega of Osun State.

The governorship candidate of the APC in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Obafemi Hamzat was also seen sandwiching the octogenarian.
