News In Pictures: Atiku Quickly Meets With Donald Trump’s Powerful Men, In America

Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Candidate in the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, met with those that the All Progressives Congress, APC, claimed would arrest him in the United States of America, USA.

Bruce said this, while sharing a photograph of Atiku Abubakar’s meeting with some United States Congressmen under the President Donald Trump administration, upon his arrival in Washington DC.

Recall, that the former Vice President’s visit, is against the belief that he had been barred from the US, due to corruption charges.

The APC-led Federal Government had claimed the Waziri Adamawa, would never be able to enter the US, over money laundering allegations hanging on his neck. However, Bruce, in a tweet wrote: “How ironic, that we are meeting with the very people that @OfficialAPCNg claim want to arrest @atiku.

“While some people are not sure whether or they are the Presidential Candidate of their party, @atiku Abubakar is sure of himself, and making an impact for Nigeria in America.”

Meanwhile, Atiku’s visit set Nigerian political scene on fire, when pictures of his arrival in Washington D. C. surfaced online.

The visit is seen as a major boost to his presidential campaign as Atiku had not visited the country for over 13 years, a development his political opponent have often used against him.

Since his arrival in the US, the former vice-president has been at the top of conversation among Nigerians on Twitter.
