Eye witnesses record the sounds of gunshots as well as touts brandishing various weapons. In the chaos, Lagos state NURTW boss, Oshodi faction, Mc Oluomo was stabbed in the neck and is reportedly in a coma.

Since the news of this began circulating Twitter users have called for Lagosians to take extra security measures as touts have gone on rampage in key areas on Lagos Mainland.
