BREAKING : Buhari Forwards New National Minimum Wage Bill To NASS

President Mahammadu Buhari has finally forwarded the proposed New National Minimum Wage of N27,000 to the National Assembly.

Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, confirmed this when he read Buhari’s letter on the floor of the Senate on Thursday.

The President Muhammadu Buhari-led government on Wednesday had said it would immediately transmit the executive bill to the National Assembly for the new minimum wage of N30, 000 for federal workers and the 27,000 for private sector as well as State workers.
