Police arrest 4 suspected armed robbers in Enugu

The Enugu State Police Command on Saturday arrested four suspected armed robbers terrorizing the State.

The Enugu State Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Ebere Amaraizu, in a statement on Sunday said the Command also recovered a plastic fabricated gun, a Toyota Bus, two generating sets among other valuables from the suspects.

According to NAN, Amaraizu explained that the suspects were apprehended at a criminal hideout at Gariki, within Ugwuoba axis of Oji River council area.
He added that the suspects were currently helping police operatives in their investigations which was related to their nefarious activities ranging from car theft and armed robbery.
