Bayelsa- Senator Ben Murray Bruce is fighting a losing battle to return to the Senate due to the zoning arrangement in Bayelsa East Senatorial district.

According to the zoning arrangement, it is the turn of Ogbia Local Government Area to produce the next senator. Already, Mr Foingha Jepthah, an aide to Governor Dickson, has indicated interest to run for the office. Senator Ben Murray Bruce declared his total support for Atiku Abubakar four months ago when Governor Dickson and the Bayelsa PDP sealed his fate with the Zoning arrangement.
