BREAKING News: Youths Raze Police Station Over Alleged Shooting Of Student by SARS

A police station in Osun State, was on Friday, set ablaze by irate youth after an official of the Police allegedly shot dead a young student in the area.

Some angry youths in the Iwo area of Osun State, have on Friday, set a police station ablaze in the town over the alleged shooting of an undergraduate student, Tunde Nofiu, by an officer attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

According to PUNCH Metro, the student who was spending the holidays in the town and was going to Iwo from Olupona, was shot dead on Thursday night and the incident has led to a protest.

The name of the school of the deceased could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report. But it was gathered that the youths of the town gathered and set ablaze the police station on Friday morning.
