A mild drama has ensued on popular social media app, Twitter, over a conversation on bail and woman rights in the Nigeria Police.

The debate started with a tweet by career coach, Dipo Awojide where he questioned the rights of females in in the Nigeria Police sector.

There is nothing like “Dear Ma” in the lexicon of the Nigerian Police because women are lesser beings to them. A woman cannot also bail anyone. These are the real issues we must address. Not who will pound yam and off generator.

@OgbeniDipo I have never addressed any of my female superiors in rank as “Sir”, its “Ma, Ma’am”.
I don’t know of anyone doing otherwise.
