A young man who summoned up courage to go and allegedly steal from an electricity transformer, has regretted his decision after he was severely burned.

Some photos and video showing a man who was badly burnt in the process of vandalising a transformer have emerged online and are making the rounds on social media.

It was gathered online that he was trying to steal oil from a street transformer yesterday morning and got burnt in the process while using his phone as touch light.

The identity of the victim or where in the country the incident occured, were not ascertained by TORI News as at the time of filing this report.
