A model in Serbia has been criticised after she took a selfie with her dad then posted it on social media. Jelica Ljubicic, who also describes herself online as a singer, posted the picture onto her online accounts saying ‘rest in peace’.

However, after facing severe criticism she has now deleted her online presence.

She uploaded the picture with the caption ‘Dad… Rest in peace’ (Picture: CEN)

She can be seen pouting next to her father’s body and local media reports that he was dead at the time the picture was taken. Ljubicic added underneath the picture: ‘We have fought as much as we can, but it is not our will.

We don’t decide how long we will live. ‘He left us in the 67th year of life. Thank you for everything, I am grateful for being your daughter, and having you as my father. ‘Thank you for bringing us to the right path. Rest in peace, you will always stay in our hearts.’

She received widespread condemnation from other people online (Picture: CEN)

One of the people who saw the pictured commented on it saying: ‘This is how much she cares for her father she has the time and strength to take photos.’

Another added: ‘Only a sick person can do this.’ While a third wrote: ‘I can’t believe what am I reading and seeing. No, there is no hope for this world.’
