Atiku reacts to Governor Ortom’s defection from APC to PDP
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the resignation of Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his decision to join the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.Recall that Ortom, on Wednesday announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress, APC
Ortom in a Statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Tever Akase said the governor has officially joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Reacting to the development, Atiku took to his Twitter page welcoming the Governor.
Atiku wrote, ”My dear Governor Samuel Ortom, welcome home to @OfficialPDPNig, a party that promotes equity, fairness and inclusiveness that will better serve the interest of the good people of Benue. ”
