Thursday, June 28, 2018 is a day that most Nigerians, especially Lagosians will not forget as a fuel laden tanker fell and burst into flames, destroying many lives and a total of 53 vehicles. The screams of the victims, the cries of the witnesses and survivors is a sound that pierced through the hearts of Nigerians both at home and in diaspora.

All social media sites were abuzz with the heartbreaking photos and videos with one hashtag trending; #PrayForNigeria. Many reactions, speculations on who to blame and even just plain anger as been circulating in the air. One of such which brings attention is that of Pastor Poju Oyemade, Senior Pastor Of Covenant Christian Centre. He, via his Twitter page, aired his views on the tragedy and this sparked an online debate with one of his followers @fortxyz . The ensuing discussion between them has prompted a reaction from people with more inclined to insulting the follower.
