June 12: Youth Group Declares Support As It Commends Buhari For Democracy Day Declaration

During the walk for nigeria Movement Democracy Day Celebration In Ikeja Lagos State many had a lot to say to President Buhari over his declaration of June 12 as the new Democracy Day of Nigeria and conferring a posthumous GCFR title on the Late MKO Abiola who won the June 12 1993 election before his death.

Below is an open letter of support from African Youth Initiative For Good Leadership for President Muhammadu Buhari:

                                     WE SALUTE PRESIDENT BUHARI
The President, officers and members of African Youth Initiative For Good Leadership give glory to God for the unusual courage of President Muhammadu Buhari for his declaration of June 12, 1993 Presidential Election Day as the AUTHENTIC DEMOCRACY DAY for all citizens of Nigeria.

We salute Buhari's courage, what a courage?! What a president? Buhari's courage fo declaring June 12 as Democracy Day is greater than the courage he exhibited during his illness. Buhari has demonstrated good leadership. We of African Youth Initiative For Good Leadership wish him increased wisdom and good health. Buhari may remain the greatest president who sincerely served fellow Nigerians in ill-health and still doing better things in good health.
     
                                            June 12 is very much alive for now.
Who says June 12, 1993 presidential election exercise is dead? Tat is their own selfish and dreadful declaration. The haters and lovers of June 12 from every Nigerian local government, state government, national assembly and the senate are benefitting from the democratic spirit of June 12 everyday.

Undoubtedly, June 12 is the bedrock of Nigeria democracy. President Buhari is already keeping the ball rolling. We shall be kicking the ball along with him over all success of Nigeria as a nation. M.K.O Abiola, the flagship of June 12 deserved the honour given to him. Generations yet unborn will live to appreciate the wonderful deeds of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Presidentiial honour to Ganiyu Oyesola Fawehimi is quite justified, the tireless freedom fighter of his time on earth fought relentlessly for every citizen to live aa better lif.
