Federal High Court Sacks Popular Kogi Senator

A Federal High Court in Abuja has sacked senator Atai Aidoko.

Aidoko is representing Kogi East in the red chamber of the National Assembly.

The court presided over by Justice Gabriel Kolawole, ruled that Mr Aidoko was wrongly presented as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the December 2014 Primaries.

The court ordered the PDP and Mr Aidoko to pay his challenger, Isaac Alfa N750,000.
