JUST IN: Court Declares Innoson Boss, Innocent Chukwuma Wanted
A Court seated in Lagos has declared Innoson Motors’ CEO, Innocent Chukwuma wanted.
Justice Mojisola Dada of the special offences court declared Chukwuma wanted over his failure to show up in Court for trial.
In a matter between the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and Innocent Chukwuma Innoson motors, Justice Dada was compelled to declare him wanted after counsels to the EFCC explained to the court, the frustrations they have been facing in executing the bench warrant issued against Innocent Chukwuma, after his failure to be physically present in court as ordered by the judge.
Chukwuma’s failure to make an appearance before the court for four consecutive times informed the issuance of the bench warrant.
Justice Dada had earlier ruled that no motion application will be taken until Chukwuma is found physically present in court and declared him wanted after his absence again in court for the fifth time.
The EFCC is prosecuting Innoson Motors, Chukwuma and his younger brother Charles Chukwuma on the charges of forgery of vital documents.
