Confusion as wife takes husband’s underwear to prophet
A Man identified as Columbus Chijoko, after being granted a protection order against his wife whom he accused of taking his underwear to prophets and threatening to poison him.
He told Civil Court magistrate Lazini Ncube last week that he was now even scared to eat at home because of the threats by his wife, Alice Takawira.
Chijoko said his wife was also in the habit of harassing him at his workplace and assaulting him in front of their children.
However, Alice Takawira told a different story to the court, she claimed her husband applied for the protection order to stop her from questioning him about an alleged extra-marital affair.
She claimed she was tipped off by Chijoko’s workmates that he was having an affair with a colleague.
