JUST IN: Nigerian Serving Politician Drops Dead

The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Michael Adeyemo is dead.

DAILY POST learnt that Adeyemo died in the early hours of Friday at Jericho hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

Sources informed DAILY POST correspondent that the Eruwa born lawyer-turned-politician died of heart attack.

However, efforts made to know the time and other details sorrounding his death proved abortive as calls put through to some members of the Assembly and information officer of the House proved abortive.

But one of the members, Hon. Wumi Oladeji (Ogbomoso North), said she was informed about the incident this morning.

Oladeji, who said she was on her way to join her colleagues in Ibadan, told DAILY POST that can not speak further on the matter.
