Governor Of Kwara Offers Huge Amount For Useful Information That Can Lead To Arrest Of Offa Robbers
Following the bloody armed robbery attack that left many people dead in Kwara state, the Governor has offered a ransom to anybody with useful information that will lead to the arrest of the robbers.

Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, the Governor of Kwara state has offered N5m to anyone who provides useful information leading to the capture and prosecution of the perpetrators of the robbery attack in Offa.
This was made public in a statement released by his spokesperson, Dr. Muyideen Akorede who called on anyone with useful information on the incident to contact the state police command on the following numbers (0803 739 1280 and 0803 236 5122).
He said, “While we mourn our dead with a heart full of sadness, and care for the injured by paying all their medical bills, we will do everything in our power to bring the attackers to justice and ensure that never again does any community or people in our state experience such tragedy.”
The governor said there was the urgent need to ensure that justice was done on the incidence.
He assured informants of anonymity, confidentiality and safety, adding that no harm would befall them on account of them assisting the security agents in arresting the attackers.
Ahmed said the police and other security agents in the country had begun a vigorous search for the perpetrators of the attack on Offa community.
He pledged to spare no effort in supporting the law enforcement agents to apprehend and successfully prosecute the perpetrators.
