The senator representing Kaduna central, Shehu Sani has reacted following calls by President Muhammadu Buhari that the extension of John Odigie-Oyegun's tenure as party chairman is unconstitutional.

Reacting to the matter, Shehu took to his Facebook to write: "The rejection of tenure elongation by President Muhammadu Buhari is commendable. The elongation was nothing but an illegality hatched by a gang trying to push the party to the path of dishonor and ignominy. The President has exorcised the demon of illegitimacy in the womb of the Party.
