March 25, 2018 Senatoral Elections: 252 Contenders for 70 Seats

Elections Cameroon has published the final list of candidates of political parties and candidates who will contest for the 70 seats into the senate. Information from ELECAM however indicates that out of the 42 lists submitted by nine political parties, 36 lists have been approved. A total of 252 candidates will contest for 70 seats nationwide.

ELECAM officials were gathered also revealed that of the 42 lists, five were rejected while one was withdrawn.
