Man Poses With Decapitated Head After Being Arrested For Beheading A Woman In Enugu

A young man has shown just how heartless and wicked he really is and has been arrested by security operatives for beheading his neighbour in Enugu state.

A middle-aged man identified as Tochukwu Chianugo, has been apprehended by operatives of the Nigerian Police Force from the Enugu state command for allegedly killing and beheading a woman, Sussana Enejere.

The victim who hailed from Ugbene Ajima in Uzouwani Local Government Area of Enugu state, had reportedly gone to farm on Tuesday but did not return home prompting neighbours to start a search for her.

The neighbours later reported the matter to the police which launched an investigation.

While speaking to news reporters, the State's Police spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu, confirmed the incident, and said the police after a painstaking investigation arrested Mr. Chianugo who reportedly confessed to killing the woman.

According to the spokesman, the suspect who hails from Ugwuoda village Nimbo ”was promptly nabbed in connection with the alleged incident”.

“Following his arrest, he took the operatives to the place where he had beheaded the victim,” Amaraizu added.

He added that the headless body, together with the severed head have been recovered and deposited in a nearby mortuary.
