Today, David Adeleke, aka Davido hit the great milestone of 6Million followers on Instagram, retaining his position as the most followed artiste on the social media APP not just in Nigeria but in Africa.
Davido’s fan base cuts across followers from different parts of the world including all corners of Africa.
While international artistes are celebrating a hundred million followers and more on their pages, it remains a great feat in this part of the world for the multitude of over 6Million people to follow a single person.
Davido beats the likes of Akon and Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz to be the star with the largest number of followers, not even Wizkid could beat him to that.
If it took Davido about five months to go from 5M to 6M, it is very likely that the FIA crooner would reach not just 7 million this year, but 8 Million would beckon too!
