2019 Presidency: What We'll Do If Atiku Fails To Contest - Northern Youths Reveals

A group of Northern Youths has threatened legal actions against former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, if he fails to run for the Presidency in 2019.

Speaking while addressing Journalists in Kaduna, the National Chairman of the group of Northern Youth from the Northwest region, Zachariah Sunday Diwong, asked former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar to run for the Presidency of Nigeria in 2019 or risk being charged to court.

According to Leadership, the Youth, under the umbrella body “Turaki Vanguard Youths and Women Mobilization Group”, said Former Vice Atiku is the only credible Nigerian that has the capacity to transform the country.

The youth who also offered to purchase the Presidential form for Atiku Abubakar, said the former VP is the most youths friendly leader that jas mentored Nigerian youth over the years.

The group said: “For equity, justice and fairness, we believe it is time for the entire north to support somebody from the northeast to as our President. And Atiku is the best from that region.

“Atiku Abubakar is a tested and trusted individual who has the capacity to transform Nigeria better than what it is today.

“Nobody frombthw North Eastern Nigeria that is most qualify than the former Vice President, He is the man that knows Nigeria. The man who has been in the policy making of Nigeria. A philanthropist.

“For these reasons and many more, we the Youth from the Northwest here by endorsed Atiku Abubakar for presidency come 2019 and failure to contest, legal actions will be taken.”
