The story has been told of a grieving widow whose in-laws made a shocking demand of her a few days after she lost her husband.

A Twitter user identified simply as Afo D Guarantor‏ (@nerdy_dami), has taken to the social networking platform to share a shocking story of what her friend's in-laws told her just few minutes after the lady lost her husband.

The lady revealed that the in-laws were not supportive ever since the deceased was hospitalised. She revealed further on how some members of the family started asking her friend for her husband’s properties two days before he died in the hospital.

She added that his mother said if she knew her son would die, they would have travelled all the way from the village.

Some ugly things they said, I'll share here. Thread! Right there at the hospital, minutes after the man gave up, his older cousin asked the wife (my friend) if there was any property he owned that they didn't know of.

Like isn't it too early and insensitive to ask that already? Like that wasn't enough, the deceased younger brother told her thank God you didn't have any children for him, it's better sef’ better how, does he want to take over?

I still don't understand the statement, I don't ever! The worst of it all was when they got back to the house and the mum said if they knew he was going to die, they wouldn't have traveled all the way down from the village.
