A Nigerian man has died a terrible death on Valentine's day after he jumped into a swimming pool few days to his mother's burial.

The late Izuchukwu Ugwoke

The family members of a production Manager and Camera assistant with Square Wing Movie, Asaba, have been thrown into a state of double grief following the death of their son who drowned in a swimming pool on Valentine's Day, just few days to his mother's burial.

The victim identified as Izuchukwu Ugwoke, who hails from Ibagwa-Ani, Nsukka, Enugu State was preparing for the burial of his mother slated for February 23 when the tragic incident happened.

It was gathered that trouble started when Izuchukwu dived into the swimming pool on Wednesday night, and didn't surface. He died before he could be rescued from the pool.
