A religious crisis has left many people injured and houses burnt following the alleged abduction and conversion of some girls by one of the groups.
Houses have been burnt with many people seriously injured after Muslims and Christians clashed over an incident in Kasuwan Magani village of Kajuru Local Government area of Kaduna State.
According to This Day violence reportedly broke out among Christian and Muslim youths at about 10am Monday following the alleged abduction and conversion of some girls by one of the groups.
Sources said some houses were burnt while several people sustained injuries during the clashes. Securitymen have been deployed in the area to arrest the situation.
