A young medical doctor has lost his life in a controversial circumstance after he was reportedly killed by the suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Ehidiamen Oakimena was reportedly killed by Fulani herdsmen

A Nigerian woman by name, Bubu Endowed has shared a sad story how a medical doctor identified as Ehidiamen Oakimena was allegedly killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen along Okada-Benin road in Edo state.

The doctor who was a senior registrar in the Department of Anaethesia University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) and reportedly died after suffering from complications and excessive bleeding.

He was a staunch Deeper Life member before his death.

Writing about the sad news, Bubu said: "With deep pain i announce the death of Dr Ehidiamen Oakimena...a senior registrar in Dept of Anaethesia UBTH. Sorry to disturb our peace. I want to inform us that Fulani herdsmen blocked the Okada Benin road and shot this young man with automatic rifle. He died of complications such as Disseminated Intravascular Coagulopathy..made him bleed ceaselessly. Residents in UBTH donated over 30 pints of blood. He is 2nd son to a prominent Christian brother... former UNIBEN staff...a Deeper Life member."
