Some sea pirates have reportedly killed no less than two police officers in Bayelsa State, a development which has caused quite some unrest in the area.

Vanguard reports that two policemen attached to the marine deoartment of the Nigerian Police were reportedly shot dead Monday night by gunmen suspected to be sea pirates at the riverside town of Ogbia in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
