Nigeria's Foreign Reserves have hit a new high of $40.4bn according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The figure indicated an increase of about $1 billion between December 2017 and January 2018.

It would be the highest it has been in 3 years. The new level was projected by CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele in November.
