Nigerian rapper, Falz who had a very successful career in the year 2017 had just revealed that he received a letter from the LIRS (Lagos State Internal Revenue Service) to come and remit his personal income tax for the year 2017.

This is surely a welcome development in the State and other states of the country can emulate such. It is quite obvious that majority of the Nigerian celebrities do not remit their taxes to the government, despite making huge sums of money from the public.

The LIRS should go after all the celebrities and not Falz only.
