BARCELONA star Lionel Messi reportedly praised just one Real Madrid player after El Clasico on saturday afternoon.

Barcelona outclassed Real Madrid at the Bernabeu this afternoon, easing to a comfortable 3-0 win.

The Catalan giants prevailed courtesy of goals from Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Aleix Vidal.

It could have been even worse for Real with Keylor Navas producing several top saves to prevent Barcelona from running riot.

And Spanish website Don Balon claim Messi approached the Costa Rica international after the game and praised him for his fine performance.

Navas' days at the Bernabeu appear to be numbered.

Real are likely to invest in a new goalkeeper at the end of the season with Athletic Bilbao's Kepa Arrizabalaga on their radar.

And, amid reports that Kepa could sign in January, Don Balon claim Messi was full of praise for Navas.

He supposedly gave him a pat on the back and expressed his amazement at the player's performance.

Yet Messi's praise may not be enough to keep Navas at the club.

If Kepa does not sign, then Real have alternatives lined up.

They remain keen on Manchester United's David De Gea, despite missing out on a deal back in 2015.

Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois is another on their radar with the Belgian supposedly keen to return to La Liga.

And Gianluigi Donnarumma has also been tipped to arrive with his AC Milan future shrouded in uncertainty.
