Former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has queried why a sitting state governor should bow to greet President Muhammadu Buhari.
The President met with the State governors on Monday in Abuja and video released showed some governors bowing to greet the President, situation that did not go down well with Reno Omokri.
On his twitter timeline, Omokri said: “Why should a governor BOW to greet President Buhari? Is he God?
“Do US Governors bow to greet Trump?
He criticised the APC governors for taking sycophancy too far.
“APC Governors take sycophancy too far.
“Respect the President and treat his office with dignity, but when he offers you his hand, look him in the face and give him a firm grip!”
