Family and friends have been left completely devastated after a woman suddenly vanished after dropping this final snapchat message.

This is the young woman who has been missing for almost a week posted a picture on Snapchat saying she was ‘Ready for my date’ just hours before she vanished.

According to Metro UK,her parents believe Sydney Loofe went missing the day after going on a date with a woman she had met online.

The 24-year-old reportedly texted her friend on Wednesday last week to say she had been on a date with the woman the night before and was planning to go out again that night.

But after sharing the Snapchat selfie with friends, Sydney failed to show up at work the next morning. The family say they are distraught, that the disappearance was suspicious and they fear she may have been abducted.

Police in Wilber, Nebraska, are investigating her disappearance last Wednesday and say it is ‘concerning’. ‘It doesn’t feel like this is happening,’ friend Terra Gehrig, 23, said.

‘It feels like just a dream — this is only stuff you see on TV.’ Police confirmed Sydney was last seen in Wilber on November 15 and have said they suspect she is in danger.

Sydney, who works in a DIY store, left her car and cat, Nimzy, at home. ‘She was planning on coming home that night,’ her mother Susie Loofe told the Lincoln Journal-Star.

Her mobile phone was traced triggering a police search but it has since been turned off. Issuing a heartfelt plea to his daughter, Sydney’s dad George said: ‘Tell her we love her and we’re waiting for her to come home.’

The missing woman has distinctive tattoos, according to flyers being shared on social media.

She has the words ‘Everything will be wonderful someday’ written on her arm, a yin yang sign below her elbow and ‘Believe’ on her wrist.

Her mother, Susie Loofe, posted on Facebook: ‘Please continue sharing, posting, searching and praying. We need Sydney to come home safe and soon.’
