Man Bites Off His Neighbour's Thumb During Brutal Fight in Lagos

A man has stunned his community in Lagos State after he sunk his teeth into his neighbour's thumb and bit it off during a fight.

A horrific fight between one Abiola Busari and Emmanuel Enechie turned bloody after Busari used his teeth to bite off Enechie’s thumb. The fight ended  abruptly afterwards.

The incident happened at Oriretan Street off Moricas Road, Dopemu in Agege, Lagos.

P. M. Express reports that Busari and Enechie who were known rivals in the area, had disagreement over an undisclosed matter which led to exchange of words and later degenerated to a fight. It was in the course of that Enechie’s finger found its way into Busari’s mouth who did not waste time to bite it off and threw it on the ground.

The victim bled profusely and was rushed to a hospital but before then, the finger that fell off was already dead and could not be fixed back.

The matter was reported to the police at Dopemu Division who recovered the thumb as exhibit and kept it at the police station.

The suspect, Busari was arrested and charged before Ogba Magistrates court for assault.

He pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.I. Dan-Oni granted Busari bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.

The defendant was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.

The matter was adjourned till 24 November, 2017.

It was gathered that Enechie was not the first victim to have suffered similar fate from Busari. It was gathered that two other victims had lost part of their fingers through same bites by the defendant.
