An operative of the Federal Road Safety Commission who was on duty at the Idu airport unit in the federal capital, Abuja, has been sent to his early grave.
A Facebook user identified as James Adamu Kalaa, has taken to the social networking platform to share photos and the story of how a Federal Road Safety Officer on duty was killed on Wednesday by a hit and run driver.
Below is how a colleague of the deceased narrated the incident online;

'KILLING OF ROAD SAFETY STAFF ON DUTY IS ONE TOO MANY.GOD HELPS US
What a painful exit, this our colleague left home today that until he comes back but he couldn't. God have mercy on us. Another aggressive driver intentional hit him down to dead. Today in Idu airports unit. gallant marshal rest in peace until we come'.
