Shocker: Gunmen Storm Plateau State at Night, Kill Former SSG, Injure 12 Others

Gunmen have caused serious commotion in Plateau State after storming the place to wreck havoc, killing an ex SSG and injuring 12 others.

Gunmen have attacked and killed a former Secretary to the Plateau State Government, SSG, Moses Gwom.

The police in Plateau State confirmd this on Wednesday, Premium Times reports.

The attackers also injured 12 others.

The spokesperson for the command, Terna Tyopev, said this in a telephone interview with Premium Times on Wednesday.

“Unknown gunmen attacked and killed one Moses Gwom, at his residence in Barkin ladi. His house is located opposite STF checkpoint, 12 others were injured during the attack.”

Residents of the area said the gunmen also attacked security operatives at the checkpoint before wrecking havoc on the residence of late official.

The police spokesperson explained that the deceased was attacked at his residence at about 9 p.m. on‎ ‎Tuesday.

No arrest has been made, but security operatives are on the trail of the suspects, he said.
