JUST IN: Ministry Of Petroleum Chief Staff Is Dead

Immediate past Permanent Secretary the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Taiye Haruna has passed away.

Haruna reportedly died Saturday night in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. The cause of his death is unknown.

The late Haruna will be buried today in line with Islamic rite in his hometown, Owo, Ondo State, Southwest Nigeria.

Haruna was instrumental in resolving the lingering fuel crisis that continued a week after President Muhammadu Buhari was sworn into office in 2015.

It could be recalled that ex-Supreme Court Judge, Justice Saifullahi Coommassie, 71, died early hours of Friday.

He was buried same day in his hometown, Zaria, Kaduna State
