Nigerian footballer, Kenneth Omeruo, has proposed to his girlfriend after he planned a romantic proposal for the lady without her knowing.

Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, who plays for Kasimpasa where he is on loan from Chelsea FC, has taken the bold step of proposing to his girlfriend, Chioma Nnamani.

The romantic proposal was a complete surprise as the player's girlfriend had no inkling something of such would go down as she walked into a room to see her boyfriend, Omeruo, sitting on the bed, and while she was still basking in the euphoria of seeing him, the footballer went on his knee to propose to her. It took the young lady a little time to come around to what was happening.

She covered her face at some point as everything came as a total surprise to her. She finally said ‘yes’ and the family members who were hiding in another part of the room came out to congratulate the duo.

Omeruo shared the video clip on Instagram and wrote; "Blessed to have you @oma_maranma 💍 thank you for accepting me 🙏🏾 and thanks to my people who made it a surprise for real..."
