Road Users in Pandemonium as Raging Fire Erupts on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway (Photos)

A heavy fire have been reported around Warewa bridge at the popular Lagos-Ibadan expressway, before Arepo in Ogun State this Wednesday.

Some photos have emerged online showing that there a raging fire on the Ogun State end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, which have left road users scampering for safety on Wednesday morning.

According to a report by Punch newspaper, the bullish fire polluted the atmosphere, bellowing heavy smoke that covered the area stretching from Kara to Arepo.

It was gathered that the heat emanating from the fire was real, as motorists sped past in a bid to avoid being engulfed in the fire.

As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is not yet ascertained.
