It was learnt that the suspects attacked one Idris Audu of Nanati village in Paikoro council and kidnapped two of his children.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, while confirming the arrest, said the suspects were in custody and were assisting in the ongoing investigations.
Similarly, a team of policemen also arrested a four-man robbery gang in Katcha Local Government Area of the state.
The suspects, Joseph Amoh, Amos Moses, Ndaman Ahmadu and Musa Iye, were arrested for illegal possession of firearms.
The PPRO said the weapons were recovered from them during an encounter with security operatives.
Meanwhile, residents of Wushishi Local Government Area, where the Niger State Polytechnic, Fulani camp, is situated, have raised the alarm over incessant attacks on the area by armed gangs.
The suspected criminals, numbering 10, were said to have attacked and robbed one Alhaji Musa Sani, dispossessing him of the sum of N34, 000, two mobile telephones and one motorcycle.
