BREAKING NEWS: Community blocks Enugu-Port Harcourt Express Way over alleged herdsmen invasion

Residents of Ozalla communities in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State have blocked the ever busy Enugu-Port-Harcourt Expressway.

According to source, it was reported that hundreds of road users have been left stranded for several hours.

Our correspondent, who visited the area Monday morning, saw women and children at the Ozalla Police Station where they took refuge all through Sunday night.

A source hinted that trouble started when Fulani herdsmen recovered the remains of one of them, who they alleged was murdered by the residents.

However, the residents, who denied involving in any killing, further alleged that the ‎herdsmen stormed the area threatening to wipe them out.
