Free the Nipple is a gender equality campaign created in 2012 after Lina Esco started filming the 2014 film Free the Nipple. The campaign argues that women should be allowed to bare their nipples in public and, for some reason, breasts are extremely offensive to people. Why should a woman's sexuality be taken away from her and, then, essentially sold back to her through films, popular culture and mass media? The issue of breastfeeding in public has come up so many times and condemned just as many times, because of the threat of perceived indecency.

Breasts cross the thin line between sexual and motherly and the society cannot deal with that.

Priya Malik is the Bigg Boss season 9's contestant and a television host, who is passionate about the #freethenipple movement, and constantly advocates for it. She recently put up a picture on Instagram, championing gender equality when it comes to body politics.

Well, this is India. So, obviously, haters poured in like rain during the monsoon:

Priya, however, is pretty good at shutting down the naysayers and doubters, and we couldn't be happier. She has been championing gender equality and calling out the haters on her Twitter incessantly, keeping up the fight for justice.
