Hired Killer Caught While Trying To Strangle Woman in Lagos

A hired killer has been apprehended while trying to strangle a woman in Lagos.

The assassin was said to have come all the way from Sapele, Delta State to assassinate a woman in Jakande, Lagos State.

He reportedly entered the boutique of the unsuspecting woman and strangled her with a rope but was stopped by residents who heard the woman screaming.

He was, however, stripped unclad by an angry mob who almost lynched him to death before the Police came to his rescue.

The woman has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Eyewitnesses at the scene of the incident told reporters how the alleged hired killer bit his victim and then tried to strangle her.

The eyewitnesses said the woman was able to scream and called out for help from neighbours who arrived just in time to apprehended the attacker.

One of the men standing around the naked man said in pidgin English, “He bite her. He wan kill am. He wan strangle am.

She don go hospital. She get injury.”

The man was, however, taken away by the Jakande police division.
