A heartless man has left his former girlfriend disfigured after he traced her home and poured acid on her.

A manhunt for a man believed to be in his late 20s at Wassa Japa has began after he allegedly poured acid on his former girlfriend. The sad incident happened at Wassa Amenfi East of Ghana.

According to DailyGuide, the man identified as Cashman is now on the since pouring the acid on his supposed ex-girlfriend, one Naomi Addai, 21, on Wednesday.

It was gathered that the suspect poured the acid on the victim when he saw her walking with a man believed to be her teacher. Naomi is currently at the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital receiving treatment.

An eyewitness, who gave his name as Oheneba Banasco, told DAILY GUIDE, “The boy after pouring the acid on his girlfriend, bolted and the police have intensified their search for him.”

He continued, “The boy poured acid on the victim and everybody can see the bruises on her face and also some part of her body.”

He explained that the 21-year-old girl was seeing off her teacher at Wasa Japa Aheneboboano when the unfortunate incident occurred, not knowing that the suspect, believed to be the ex-boyfriend of Naomi, was hiding somewhere in the darkness.

Oheneba Banasco asserted that the victim saw the guy and tried to hide herself behind a maize seller.

The eyewitness asserted that the boy managed to locate his ex-girlfriend, rushed on her and allegedly poured the acid on her and the maize seller as well.
