Manchester attack: Outrage as Milo Yiannopoulos slams Ariana for being 'pro-Islam'

Milo Yiannopoulos has provoked outrage by slamming singer Ariana Grande for being “pro-Islam” just hours after 22 people were killed at her Manchester Arena concert.

The ultra-conservative firebrand posted a series of remarks on Facebook claiming the hugely popular entertainer was “too stupid to wide up and warn her European fans about the real threats to their freedom and their lives”.

Mr Yiannopoulos said he expects her to “remain ferociously pro-immigrant, pro-Islam and anti-America”.

“Makes you wonder whether they bombed to attack her or in solidarity,” he wrote.

Later, he posted a further message to accuse the 23-year-old – who has described herself as “broken” following the attack – of “feeling sorry for herself”.

“When will Ariana Grande stop feeling sorry for herself and condemn Islamic terror?” he asked.

People on social media hit back at the provocative comments.

“How is this about Ariana Grande or America? This should be about the dead and wounded in Manchester, the fact that it's not shows the low calibre of humanity among you,” said one Facebook user.

“How would you feel if 20 people were blown up at one of your speaking events?” asked another.
